Proof tester is designed for a tension testing of optical fibers, splices, FBGs and tapers. The linear proof tester can perform proof tests with load up to 70 N. The user can select parameters such as pulling force, start/stop force at which the load is applied, force offset, test time and speed of testing. All parameters are controlled by built-in microcomputer.
